Former Sokoto Governor Attahiru Bafarawa has been arrested by the EFCC over allegations that he was used by former President Goodluck Jonathan and former National Security Adviser Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) to launder over N4.1billion in funds meant for fighting Boko Haram.
It is said that his son might have leaked the whereabouts of his father as he was arrested in the morning hours of today after the arrest of his son yesterday.
