UNC to stop Biafra protests

See what the a board member of the UNC have to say on Biafra protest and violence in Nigeria.

Ezeh Ogemdi said: “There is no problem or battle in this country that is not emanating from one church or mosque and 99 per cent of Nigerians claim to be Christians or Muslims. That’s why the UNC says it is both a Christian and Muslim group combining together efforts in search of peace.

If both religious groups would talk to their members, there will be no battle. That is why I said UNC is the only body that is capable of stopping any battle from taking place.”

He also mentioned  that the waves of violent protests in the eastern region should be arrested, saying the peace, democracy and economy of Nigeria should be guarded jealously.
