Well known Indian actor Salman Khan after 13 years is finally discharged and acquitted.
The actor was charged with homicide and was later convicted to 5 years imprisonment by a court. This charge was brought about due to an accident that occurred with the actor's car that left one dead and four injured.
But today, after 13 years of trial,the terror of this actor is over as the high court in the Indian city of Mumbai has found him not guilty of the hit-and-run case brought against him in 2002. This was as a result of not enough evidence, this ruling cancelled the ruling of the previous court.
The actor previously made a statement that he wasn't on the wheel that fateful day as his driver had been the one driving but the previous judge concluded that the actor had been driving under the influence of alcohol
Tears of Joy was seen on the actor's face as this ruling was made and friends and family were happy with the ruling.
