The President of Turkey, Recep Tayip Erdogan after Friday prayer was passing through the 211ft Bosphorus bridge which links Europe with Asia after Friday prayers when he spotted a man attempting to jump off the bridge.
For almost two hours, the Police had been talking to the Suicidal man who abandoned his car close to the bridge and climbed over the side railing attempting to commit suicide due to a long-standing depression.
The President stopped his motorcade and decided to talk to the man, it seems the President had an effect on the man as it can be seen that his bodyguard carried the man away from the railing into the road.
To show appreciation, the Suicidal man was seen kissing Erdogan's hand before escorted to safety.
The Identity of the man is still unknown.
