Star Wars latest series "The Force Awakens" has scored the biggest Christmas day gross of all time with an estimated $40 million on Friday, December 25.
The movie is on track to take in $140 million for its second weekend in release, which will beat the record for biggest second weekend ever.
Sherlock Holmes was last year's record bresker with $24.6 million while, the previous second weekend record was held by Jurassic World with $106 million.
