Prisoners make Gun out of Soap and toilet paper

These Lousiana prisoners chose to stretch their time in jail when they made a gun out of Soap and toilet paper. The gun was allegedly made to help the prisoners escape.

Correction officers found the gun in a cell at the Lafourche Parish Detention center and traced it back to Troy Benner-- who is doing time for armed robbery.

Police say the crafty convict created the gun out of bathroom materials that all inmates receive.

Investigators say that Benner had also stolen a handcuff key from a guard and was going to break out with the help of a fellow inmate Treiston Pierron-- who is behind bars for an arson charge and has  several outstanding warrants.

They aren't the first soap sly inmates-- a Bedford prisoner in England planned to emulate his hero -- the infamous 1930s bank robber John Dillinger by bluffing his way out of prison with a fake gun. He had a last minute change of heart.

Jail time alongside Extra thumbs up will be given to the culprit
