The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari during a visit by some delegation on Christmas, December 25, revealed plans to persuade the Boko Haram activists to accept peace in the country...
He didn't reveal so much details on how the plan will be carried out, especially after the Killings and capture of these activists.
He only expressed that Government institutions will be used to achieve this.
He further sympathised with the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and urge that Nigerians should keep praying for the country and her Government.
He futher added that the Nation's basic problems are Security, Unemployment of youths and bribery and corruption. After which he commended the security agencies for their efforts.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammadu Bello, urged Christians and Muslims to live in peace as the celebration of the birth of Christ (Christmas) simultaneously followed the birth of Prophet Muhammed (Eid-el-Maulud).
Other members of the delegation included the Senate President Bukola Saraki and some residents of residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
