After the appeal filed by the former APGA chairman, Victor Umeh against Mrs Uche Ekwunife to the Federal Court of Appeal, the judgement read by Justice Datijo Yahaya revealed that the election of Mrs Ekwunife on March 28, 2015 did not meet the prescription of the electoral act.
He then ordered a rerun in the Anambra Central Senatorial District within 90 days.
Mrs Uche Ekwunife accepted the judgment.
The former Chairman, Victor Umeh, also added that he would write to INEC so that the corruption that took place in the previous senatorial election will not occur again. He even expressed his happiness concerning the loss of PDP in the Presidential election.
