MASSOB selects new leader

The Members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has sacked its leader, Paul Uwazurike and selected new leadership for the movement.

Uchenna Madu, the group’s former national director of information emerged as the new leader while Ugwuoke Ibem Ugwuoke, as national secretary. Uwazurike has been warned against parading himself as leader.

This replacement took place on Monday November, 30 during a ceremony attended by national officers including the zonal and regional administrators of the group.
