Lagos State Government to fish out "Bad eggs" in health sector

Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris during an interactive session revealed that the Lagos State Government has vowed to fish out ‘bad eggs’ among health workers in a bid to improve the quality of health service rendered in the state.

Idris also said that the State Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency, HEFAMAA, has been mandated to visit two public hospitals per week to monitor activities of health workers.

The Commissioner further reassured Nigerians that the current administration is committed to improving the health sector to ensure better treatment for Nigeria.
