The diplomatic circle in Geneva, Switzerland has honoured the former President, Goodluck Jonathan with a Global icon award. The award is as a result of Jonathan's democratic credentials and also for upholding human rights in Africa.
He will be addressing the circle on the day of the award presentation which is Thursday, January 21, 2016 at their annual dinner.
It was also revealed that he is the first African leader to be honoured.
