A fire outbreak which occurred earlier today during the wee hours of the morning has destroyed goods worth several millions of Naira in Lugbe Market, Abuja.
An eyewitness encounter put the outbreak to have started at around 2a.m today, December 18. The eyewitness
observed smoke billowing out of the roof of a building at about two a.m. and immediately contacted the FCT Fire Service.
But it had consumed several properties before anything could be done. Another eye witness said that the Fire seem to have started from wrong electrical connection.
A shop owner, Lawrence Ugwuanyi still in shock of loss lamented that he had just stocked his shop with goods worth 150,000 which he ordered on credit the previous day, Thursday 17th.
Another shop owner, Mr Jerry Kennedy, a fashion designer also lamented to have lost 8 machines and other materials belonging to his customers from the fire.
What a sad loss.
So sad how much can be lost in a minute.
Hope these people find a way to cope with their loss.
Stop hurting your fellow human beings and defrauding them with fake services.
All the same, it's safe to say 10nk God, as no life was lost.
