Recall, that some of these people involved have been charged and arraigned.
Well, these top officials, former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki, former Governor of Sokoto state, Attahiru Bafarawa; his son, Dalhatu Bafarawa; former minister of state for finance, Bashiru Yuguda and the ex-director of finance and administration at the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) Shuaibu Salisu have been granted bail by an Abuja High Court today.
Peter Affen, the presiding judge revealed that no strong evidence has been brought forward enough to warrant the conviction of these accused persons as they have not been proven guilty.
Affen also added that these accused will be remanded in prison until their bail conditions are perfected.
