Sylvanus Nwanoro, a businessman, was today apprehended in Ikoyi prison for production of fake drugs.
The accused is standing trial on a five-count charge bordering on the alleged offence.
the prosecutor explained that, the accused was arrested in Okokomaiko in Lagos, for allegedly adulterating the drug: COF ‘N’ COLD with Codeine syrup, adding that the accused not only engaged in counterfeiting the cough syrup with codeine, but also distributing same to the public.
