The wife of the governor of Anambra state, Chief (Mrs.) Ebelechukwu Obiano expressed deep emotions over the gruesome loss of 10 Nanka accident victims. Mrs Obiano stated this during the weekend while addressing mourners shortly after the burial mass for nine of the 10 victims at St. Gregory De Great Catholic Parish, Enugwu Nanka.
Seven of the victims were women while three were men. The tenth victim whose burial wasn't held on that day, is said to be the driver of the ill-fated bus that conveyed the Christian mothers on the day of the accident. He was a member of the Anglican faith and is to be buried on a different day.
