The people of Kwandere and Shabu in Lafia Local Goverment area have given the Governor of the State, Umar Tanko Al-Makura consent to build an Airport in the Area.
This agreement was reached at a panel review meeting on the environmental assessment of the proposed airport by the Governor.
It was also urged that the Government find a way to compensate the people because of the noise from planes.
