Solomon Dalung denies clash with Governor

It has been reported that the minister of Youths and sport, Solomon Dalung has denied that there was a clash between his supporters and that of Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, in Shendam during the Christmas celebrations.

This was clarified in a statement by his spokesperson, Nneka Anibeze, saying that the rumoured clash was only a media fabrication aimed to generate confusion in the state and destroy the confidence already placed on the current administration.

See the statement from the minister of Youths and sport,

“I read with serious concern, stories making the rounds about a purported clash between my supporters and those of the executive governor when I honoured him at a festival of Gemai ethnic group in Shendam. I was at a function with the governor and it not only went smoothly but was also very cordial. Fabricating such a story may be the handiwork of idle minds that benefit from crisis of political differences.”

The minister noted that he is not at war with Lalong who he explained that they are close friends. Dalung noted like every other governor in this present administration, has common challenge of fund couple with high debt profile adding that this has slowed down drastic change in the state.

The air is cleared. I hope it's #forfact.
