Falana speaks on Buhari, Dasuki and Kanu

According to the Renowned lawyer and Human rights activist, Femi Falana,

President Muhammadu Buhari won the presidential election on the promise to fight corruption and end impunity in the country and he ought to ensure that the rule of law was respected.

Falana stated that if the government was not in support of the court’s ruling on granting bail to both the former NSA, Col. Sambo Dasuki and the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Kanu Nnamdi, it had the option of challenging it at the Court of Appeal.

He also added that as much as Nigerians are fully behind the Buhari administration in the patriotic move to recover the nation’s looted wealth, the federal government should follow the tenets of the rule of law.

He further called the on the federal government to promptly comply with the order of the court by granting bail to Kanu.
