It's been years since Janet's last album and tour. The long awaited "Unbreakable" tour kicked off with a bang for its first leg and the reviews have been nothing but positive! Sadly, reports state that the long awaited.
However, the Unbreakable tour may be cancelled entirely, as Janet had to go undergo surgery. At this time, it's being said that there was a tumor found on her vocal chords and a possibility of throat cancer.
Janet has stated, ““It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable tour until the spring.
Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time…There will be no further comment.” She said.
According to Radar online, told by Dr. Stuart Fischer
“God forbid that this should be cancer of the larynx...That would abruptly end her ability to ever perform again.” We're keeping hopeful for the 49-year-old Grammy winner who we've all loved since her Rhythm Nation days.
Janet's first single from her Unbreakable album titled, "No Sleeep", has yet to slow down on airwaves internationally.
