Former president; Obasanjo who was conferred with an honorary doctorate of Education in Political Science by TASUED as the institution celebrated its 6th & 7th Convocation ceremonies shocked the crowd saying that he doesn't believe in honourary awards and never wishes for one. He received the award alongside other Nigerian elites.
The former president said that he didn't decline the award out of respect to late chief Mrs H.I.D Awolowo and the late Tai Solarin.
According to him, he has his reasons.
Well, he kept that to himself.
